Rumor has it that Apple will be releasing a large form iPod Touch, similar to a tablet computer, by the end of 2009. Even though I probably won’t be able to afford one, I’m excited at the innovative prospect of a touchscreen Apple tablet. My iPod Touch is probably the smartest piece of technology to come into my life, it can only get greater with size! As further news develops this year, I will keep you in the loop

Okay, I’m the first to admit that I’ve never touched a Zune… but, today’s incident only proves why I have no desire to have anything to do with the Zune Club. At around two in the morning, all the 30gb Zunes quit working. No one knows why. This my WTF of the day. Baffling, isn’t it? If you have a solution to this issue, let me know and I will share with my Zune-loving friends.

I’m the first one to admit that I am a total sucker for cheesy marketing gimmicks… but I’m the biggest sucker ever when said gimmick is on clearance! Some people are addicted to drugs, I am addicted to buying useless crap on super sale.

That said, today, I bought a pair of FitFlops. What are FitFlops, you may ask? They are flip flops that are engineered to tone your muscles and help you burn calories. Ughhhh, yes I know this sounds ridiculous. But they were on clearance and I had a coupon!

I am a techno-romantic. I like to fantasize about technology coming in and saving the day. I have some extra pounds on me, so is it so wrong that I want something easy like a flip flop that can help tone my body???

Hi friends. Don’t be sad… Toasty News is back and crazier than ever! To make a long story short, a squirrel chewed through my neighborhood’s Comcast connection line and it took weeks and many visits from Comcast technicians to get it fixed. But, we’re back now! As soon as I finish my glass of egg nog and Sailor Jerry’s rum, I’ll be all over finding you the latest, greatest and weirdest news. I missed you, I promise not to go away again (unless those squirrels attack my line again).

Sorry there haven’t been any Toasty updates in the last few days. I haven’t found any news that I view as Toasty, so I thought I’d spare you by posting non-Toasty news, haha.

Anyways, I was just at Target and I found a Toasty Deal for you! On their gift card rack in the greeting card section, I found a digital camera gift card loaded with $50 to spend at Target, no cost for the camera. I was spending $50+ at Target, so I bought the gift card and used it on my purchase. Now I have my merchandise, plus a free digital camera. It’s probably pretty junky, but I think it was a fun and free bonus. Happy shopping!
